Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student communication needs as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is split between two educational settings, allowing you to make an impact across a diverse student population. With a full-time schedule (1.0 FTE), you’ll divide your time between onsite responsibilities and secondary caseload management, fostering communication and learning for success in school and beyond.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible SLP licensure in Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) are also encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in school settings and teletherapy delivery models
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services for a caseload of 55 students split between two schools (0.6 at one high school, 0.4 at a secondary center)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to reach student goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
