Positions are available at several campuses, with SLPs providing both direct therapy and evaluations—caseloads are capped at a maximum of 60 students to ensure manageability and effectiveness.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Must hold a valid Alabama ASHA Certification
- Eligibility for Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (may be pending to start)
- School-based SLP experience is preferred
- Comfortable delivering therapy and conducting evaluations across elementary and high school campuses
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Schedule and manage a balanced caseload of up to 60 students
- Serve across multiple campuses, ensuring consistency and high-quality service delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance
