Exciting opportunity available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a contract assignment within a respected early childhood educational setting. This 12-week position focuses on providing crucial speech and language services to children ages 3-5, ensuring early intervention and support for language development. Qualifications:
- MN SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience supporting school-aged children, particularly in an early childhood or ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy services to children ages 3-5 with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals and student-specific requirements
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Communicate progress and recommended strategies to caregivers and educational teams
This contract SLP opportunity is structured for three days per week, 22.5 hours, within standard school operating days (Monday–Friday). The focus is on a manageable caseload of early childhood special education students, with support from established teams.
