Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A per diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Marrero, LA, providing essential support in medication distribution and customer service within a healthcare setting. Schedule:
- Thursdays through Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, covering mid-August through early September dates
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute prescriptions as directed by physicians and other healthcare providers
- Offer clear and helpful information to customers regarding their medications and proper usage
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Louisiana required
- Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail to support patient care
