Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with authorization to practice in Oregon
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP procedures, special education requirements, and collaborating with school staff
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Passion for working within a multidisciplinary team to help students reach their academic and functional goals
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized physical therapy treatment plans for students across grades K-12
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and student needs
- Conduct evaluations, generate reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Educate and collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to ensure continuity of care and integrate therapy within the classroom
- Manage travel between schools or classrooms as necessary, utilizing your flexibility and organizational abilities
