The contract role offers the chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff, helping to shape successful learning journeys for students in grades K-12. You’ll provide a range of speech and language services, focusing on assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- School-based SLP experience highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) and deliver targeted therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student growth, therapy sessions, and communicate results with stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
