Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate specific to Special Education
• Ability to provide all necessary Pennsylvania clearances prior to your start date
• Willingness to complete pre-training assigned by the Intermediate Unit before onboarding
• Previous experience in special education, particularly with autistic support, is highly valued
• Flexibility and adaptability for classroom assignment changes as needed
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, individualized instruction to students within Autistic Support classrooms
• Adapt and modify curriculum to fit students’ educational needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to deliver comprehensive student support
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavioral data
• Participate in professional development sessions and team meetings to support ongoing growth
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom culture
