This part-time contract role focuses on delivering high-quality assessment and therapy to students engaged in service plans. Located in a welcoming school community near Euless, TX, you'll have the chance to support young learners at Charlotte Anderson ES throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLP license required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Must be able to complete Texas fingerprinting requirements quickly if not already in the system
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, student-centered therapy
- Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position; fully licensed candidates only
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students as assigned
- Provide direct therapeutic intervention based on individualized service plans
- Collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and family members to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and legal standards
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed
- Offer professional guidance regarding students’ speech and language needs
This contract role entails a commitment of 20 hours per week, running from early September 2026 through May 2027. The position offers a balanced workload and meaningful engagement with students while allowing for flexibility in your professional life.
