Special Education Teacher | Dublin, Ohio

This rewarding contract opportunity centers on creating an inclusive, dynamic learning environment for students ages 12–14. With a manageable caseload of 16 students at a single school site, you'll build meaningful connections and make a lasting impact.

This full-time position runs from August 12, 2026, through June 1, 2027. You’ll collaborate closely with 7th and 8th grade Math and English teachers to co-plan instruction and provide targeted support that helps each student reach their full potential. Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist K–12 Mild/Moderate License or Alternative Intervention Specialist License
• Background working with middle school students in a resource or inclusion setting
• Proficiency in implementing IEPs and progress monitoring plans
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and meeting deadlines
• Effective communication with parents, staff, and students
• Commitment to upholding compliance and educational standards

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative special education services in accordance with each student's IEP
• Co-plan with Math and English teachers to support inclusive instruction for grades 7 and 8
• Write, attend, and lead IEP meetings for your caseload
• Maintain ongoing documentation of services, student progress, and parent communication
• Monitor IEP goal attainment and adjust interventions as needed
• Meet all compliance requirements and complete additional teacher duties as assigned
