As a valued educator, you'll provide essential instruction and guidance within a supportive resource room setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience teaching in a special education/resource room strongly preferred
• Expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration skills for working with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deliver, and monitor tailored instruction for students with special needs
• Maintain compliance and thorough documentation for each student’s IEP
• Work with general education teachers to modify curriculum and offer classroom support
• Provide academic, social, and emotional interventions in a resource room setting
• Assess, track, and communicate student progress toward individualized goals
• Partner with families to reinforce learning and support student success
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing professional development, and district initiatives
