School-Based Physical Therapist - Kingwood, Texas

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a welcoming educational environment near Kingwood, TX. You’ll play a vital role as a Physical Therapist, serving a diverse caseload and collaborating with dedicated staff to ensure all students receive the therapy support they need. Qualifications & Credentials:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting with K-12 students preferred
• Strong skills in conducting evaluations and supervising support staff (including PTAs)
• Commitment to fostering physical development and promoting student independence
• Thorough understanding of special education practices and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and deliver services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
• Supervise and provide guidance to a PTA assigned to your caseload
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding student needs and achievements
