Occupational Therapist School Setting - Albuquerque, NM

Step into an essential role supporting students’ growth as an onsite Occupational Therapist for a part-time contract opportunity. What we're looking for:

• Active OT license in New Mexico
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the special education process
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both students and staff
• Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload effectively
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school activities

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to students with diverse learning needs
• Conduct assessments and collaborate in developing IEP goals and recommendations
• Document and update therapy progress, maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ functional success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
• Provide training and resources to school staff in support of occupational therapy interventions
