Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Active and current credentials as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Valid professional license in the state of practice
  • Prior experience delivering respiratory care in a hospital, clinic, or acute care setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of respiratory therapies, treatments, equipment, and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to assess patient needs rapidly and respond calmly in critical situations
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and document respiratory therapy procedures for patients in need of pulmonary support
  • Evaluate patient responses and adjust therapy based on physician orders and clinical assessment
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway management devices
  • Perform arterial blood gas analysis and other respiratory diagnostics
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy treatments and home care techniques
  • Accurately document all care provided and patient progress reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal safety regulations

$1,474 - $1,613/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
