Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active AZ Teaching Certificate in Special Education (AZ SPED Cert)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • AZ Psych License required
  • Experience with grades 9-12 preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work collaboratively
  • Must complete panel Zoom interview and district onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction in a special education setting for students receiving services most of the school day
  • Manage a class of 12-25 students in grades 9-12
  • Develop, document, and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
