Position Details:

• Contract position available for immediate start
• Classroom setting: K-2 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Consistent schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45am–3:15pm

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credentials
• Experience or strong interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
• Familiarity with IEP processes and adapting curriculum to individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with families and support staff
• Compassionate, patient approach to behavioral and academic interventions

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions for students with ASD
• Engage in regular progress monitoring and contribute to IEP meetings
• Create a welcoming and structured classroom environment that nurtures student growth
• Work closely with paraprofessionals and therapists to provide comprehensive support
