Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Experience working in K-2 multi-categorical or high school resource settings preferred
  • Ability to adapt instruction for students with varied learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students in a K-2 multi-categorical classroom (7:15 am – 2:45 pm; 6-7 students, with paraprofessional support)
  • Support high school resource students (8:30 am – 4:00 pm) through push-in, academic seminar, and resource classes (case load numbers to be determined)
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Partner with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to deliver optimal support
