We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to lead inventory operations across production sites and warehouse locations. This position will guide inventory control strategy, strengthen accuracy across the network, and improve how materials move from receipt through production and storage. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable processes, resolve inventory challenges, and support efficient growth. Success in this role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Direct inventory operations across multiple facilities by leading supervisors and operational partners to maintain alignment, accountability, and performance.
• Develop a capable inventory team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing growth opportunities.
• Oversee cycle count execution, reconciliation activities, and physical inventory planning to maintain reliable stock records.
• Create, implement, and refine inventory control procedures that promote consistency across warehouses and production locations.
• Investigate inventory variances, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions that improve record accuracy and process reliability.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Receiving, Production, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to address persistent inventory issues and strengthen overall material management.
• Establish strategies that support material availability while improving efficiency, storage practices, and inventory accuracy.
• Monitor key inventory metrics and lead improvement initiatives related to material flow, transfer activity, and warehouse effectiveness.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage methods, and material handling processes to support operational growth and labor efficiency.
• Lead inventory audits, assess workload and staffing needs, and help build succession plans for future inventory leadership.• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, inventory analysis, or a closely related supply chain role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead inventory teams and manage performance across warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of cycle counting, annual inventory processes, physical inventory execution, and reconciliation practices.
• Experience analyzing inventory discrepancies and using data to improve control processes and operational performance.
• Familiarity with material flow, storage strategy, and inventory movement across multiple facilities or sites.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including purchasing, receiving, production, engineering, finance, and sales.
• Solid understanding of continuous improvement methods and process standardization within inventory operations.
• Proficiency with inventory systems, reporting tools, and asset inventory tracking.
