Funeral Director or Intern
Job Description
The right candidate for this Director or Intern role works in a neat and organized manner, is timely and reliable, follows through with tasks and client-family requests, has good communication skills, good computer skills, is coachable and a self-starter, eager to work.
The role includes all aspects of funeral directing, leading families through the difficult time of losing a loved one: making funeral or cremation arrangements, following through with merchandise ordering, cemetery coordination, embalming, cosmetics, casketing, transport, and periodic 'on-call' schedules. Role also include pre-planning arrangements and general assignments of funeral service operations.
If you are new to funeral services, that's okay, we're interested in coaching as long as you are coachable.
Requires one of the following: Candidate must either have a funeral director's license or an intern license or a trainee license, or be a mortuary school student.
