Job Description:

Oneida Air Systems is looking for experienced shippers and material handlers with the desire to become part of an excellent organization.

• Pull parts, pack for shipment, and verify items from pick ticket for outbound delivery.
• Palletize & secure large freight shipments on 4,6 & 10-foot pallets.
• Prepare and ship smaller orders to process via UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
• Use of hand pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks to move material.
• Assist inbound and outbound shipping vendors, ensure safety and company policies are followed.
• Carry out tasks issued by Department Manager or designate.
• Comply with all safety regulations and recommendations.
• Reinforce and role model company values, including excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to appropriately and effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and managers in verbal or written format.
• Minimum 1-2 years of shipping or material handling experience; 3+ years of shipping or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly without assistance, and team lift to 100 lbs.
• Willing and able to work OT as needed.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Enjoy and work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Additional Information:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience
• Shift availability: Day shift – 6 am – 2:30 pm Monday through Friday (required), occasional overtime available
• Work location: In person
