Mason / Chimney Laborer
Hansen & Sons Chimney & Fireplace is looking for a dependable, hardworking Mason / Chimney Laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced technicians and masons on chimney repairs, masonry projects, fireplace work, and related construction.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in a hard day’s work, shows up reliably, and wants to learn and develop valuable trade skills.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with chimney repairs, rebuilds, tuckpointing, and other masonry work
- Mix mortar and prepare masonry materials
- Carry and stage brick, block, mortar, tools, and equipment
- Assist with demolition and removal of damaged masonry
- Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and jobsite equipment
- Help protect and prepare customers’ homes and properties before work begins
- Keep jobsites, trucks, and equipment clean and organized
- Work on roofs and at heights while following proper safety procedures
- Learn masonry, chimney, fireplace, and venting skills from experienced team members
- Provide professional and respectful service while working at customers’ homes
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable performing physical work outdoors
- Able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
- Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and scaffolding
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Construction, masonry, roofing, or chimney experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

Schedule
Full-time
Work is primarily performed at residential jobsites and involves outdoor work, climbing, lifting, and working at heights.
