The Atlantic Group has partnered with a private equity backed power system firm based in Armonk, NY. They have an immediate need for an HR Generalist to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the potential to become permanent.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to serve as a key partner to the CHRO during a period of significant growth. This individual will act as the CHRO’s right hand, taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations while supporting broader strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a polished, dependable HR professional who is responsive, diligent, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule: Hybrid

Responsibilities

-Manage day-to-day HR administration, including offer letters, onboarding paperwork, and employee file maintenance.

-Support an upcoming ADP implementation and go-live, including data migration, testing, and training.

-Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and pipeline tracking.

-Support employee relations matters and internal investigations, including conducting interviews and handling confidential information.

-Run HR reports and analytics through ADP.

-Support compensation planning programs and annual performance review cycles.

-Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys.

-Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

-Serve as a responsive and reliable point of contact for managers and employees regarding HR-related questions.

-Assist with a variety of strategic HR projects and initiatives.

-Provide general HR support as needed in a growing organization.

Qualifications

-3–7 years of progressive HR experience.

-ADP experience strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting an implementation or HRIS transition.

-Experience with recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee relations, HR reporting, and compensation programs.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Highly responsive, reliable, diligent, and able to follow direction.

-Comfortable working independently and serving as a trusted partner to senior HR leadership.

-Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

-Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

-Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
