Weekly Pay: $16.50 - 19.50 DEPENDING ON THE POSITION AND SHIFT

Express Employment Professionals is hiring dependable, hardworking General Laborers for immediate full-time opportunities at an industrial laundry and uniform processing facility in Coppell.

We have both heavy-lifting and light-lifting positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts.

HEAVY-LIFTING POSITIONS

These are very physical and dirty jobs.

Heavy-lifting associates may be responsible for unloading trucks containing heavily soiled uniforms and garments from medical and industrial environments. Applicants must understand that these items may be dirty, have strong odors, and may contain or have been exposed to bodily fluids and other contaminants.

Duties may include:

• Unloading large quantities of soiled uniforms and garments from trucks
• Handling bags and bundles of dirty laundry
• Sorting and moving soiled textiles
• Repetitive heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing
• Moving materials throughout the facility
• Working quickly and safely in a physically demanding environment

You must be comfortable with this type of work before applying.

LIGHT-LIFTING POSITIONS

Light-duty associates may work in other areas of the laundry and production operation.

Duties may include:

• Sorting uniforms and garments
• Folding and organizing clean products
• Hanging garments
• Packing and preparing orders
• Feeding or removing garments from processing equipment
• Quality checking finished products
• Standing and performing repetitive work throughout the shift

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
• Must be able to stand and work throughout the entire shift
• Heavy-lifting applicants must be physically capable of repetitive lifting and demanding manual labor
• Must be comfortable working in an industrial laundry environment
• Must be willing to perform repetitive, fast-paced work
• Reliable transportation required
• Previous warehouse, laundry, production, sanitation, loading/unloading, or general labor experience is helpful
• Must be ready to work and able to start quickly
