Pay Rate: $20.00.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift - 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Assignment Type: Temp to Hire

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented small parts set up candidate. This role is responsible for setting up and operating finishing machines to cut and shape both small parts to precise job specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate finishing machines for both small and large part production
• Follow set-up procedures to adjust machines for specific product size and shape requirements
• Change collets and diamond wheels as needed based on runout or job specifications
• Monitor production to ensure parts meet required dimensions and quality standards
• Measure parts consistently to maintain accuracy and quality control
• Complete production tickets and accurately record output
• Track and document non-conforming parts (NCP)
• Stop production and notify supervisor if NCP levels approach or exceed 10%
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  

Requirements:

• Previous machine set-up experience preferred
• Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability read calipers, micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
• Ability to read and use measuring tools
• Comfortable working in a production environment
• Ability to follow instructions and quality procedures
