Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a multi-floor Class A office building during evening hours. This position plays an important role in ensuring tenants, guests, and visitors experience a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates reliability, and can work independently while maintaining high cleaning standards.

Schedule

• Evening / 2nd Shift
• Typical hours may include 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM or similar schedule
• Weekends and overtime may be required as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain multiple floors of Class A office space
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface flooring
• Dust and sanitize desks, counters, furniture, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, partitions, and fixtures
• Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean breakrooms, kitchens, and conference rooms
• Maintain lobby areas, elevators, stairwells, and hallways to Class A standards
• Spot clean walls, doors, windows, and glass surfaces
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged property to supervisors
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment according to company procedures
• Secure assigned work areas after cleaning is completed
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance while interacting with tenants and guests

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Experience cleaning office buildings or Class A commercial properties is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in office environments
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Must be able to pass background screening if required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
• Ability to push carts, vacuums, and cleaning equipment
• Ability to work on multiple floors and navigate stairwells if needed
