Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a full-time Lab Tech/Support Staff Member to join our probation team in Cumming, GA! You will primarily conduct on-site alcohol & drug tests for misdemeanor offenders and assist with general office duties. Due to the nature of the work and the population being screened, we need a female applicant to fill this position.

Responsibilities:

• Greet offenders and process administrative documents
• Obtain urine samples from misdemeanor offenders for court-ordered alcohol & drug tests
• Document test results
• Accept & process payments
• Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
• Track customer issues and resolutions
• Schedule appointments

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in criminal justice, social services, customer service, or other related fields is preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable
