Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Team Member to help run our front of house and assist in the kitchen. In this role, you’ll be the face of Mama’s—welcoming guests, managing orders, and ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House & Customer Service

• Take Orders & Greet Guests: Welcome customers with a friendly attitude, take accurate food and drink orders, and answer questions about our menu.
• Cashier Duties: Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system. Maintain a balanced register at the end of shifts.
• Keep It Clean: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter and dining area.

Kitchen & Food Prep

• Food Preparation: Assist with basic food assembly, topping falafel sandwiches/bowls, chopping vegetables, and keeping prep stations stocked.
• Quality & Detail: Ensure every order is prepared correctly, neatly, and according to recipe guidelines—a keen eye for detail is essential!
• Food Safety: Maintain strict standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health department regulations.

• Positive Energy: Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor with both customers and teammates.
• Multitasker: Comfortable switching between cashier duties and food prep during busy lunch/dinner rushes.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work as part of a team.
• Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant, fast-casual setting, or cashier role is a plus, but passion and willingness to learn matter most!
