  • Service equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, strength equipment, and other fitness machines
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the Twin Cities metro area
  • Install, assemble, and disassemble fitness equipment
  • Explain equipment issues and recommended repairs to customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Complete accurate service reports documenting work performed and recommended repairs
  • Use a company-provided tablet to manage your schedule, access work orders, document service calls, and communicate with the office
  • Occasionally lift, move, and position heavy fitness equipment

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Mechanically inclined and enjoys figuring out how things work
  • Comfortable using hand tools and troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems
  • A self-starter who can work independently without constant supervision
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and explaining technical issues in an understandable way
  • Organized and able to manage multiple service calls throughout the day
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to doing quality work
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for scheduling and service documentation
  • Willing to learn new equipment, technologies, and repair procedures

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience using hand tools to assemble, repair, maintain, or troubleshoot mechanical or electrical equipment
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel locally to multiple customer locations throughout the workday
  • Ability to work independently in customer homes and commercial facilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move heavy equipment

Fitness equipment repair experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided for the right candidate.

What We Offer

  • $23–$27 per hour, based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Take-home company vehicle
  • Flexible schedule
  • No on-call weekends
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement plan
  • Year-round, stable work
  • Training and ongoing technical development
  • Growth and advancement opportunities
  • Climate-controlled work environment

Why Work With Us?

This isn't a job where you'll be sitting in a shop all day. You'll visit different customers, diagnose problems, work with your hands, and solve something different every day.

If you're the type of person who likes figuring things out, fixing things, working independently, and providing great customer service, we'd like to hear from you.
