Senior Superintendent/Assistant Project Manager--Ground-Up Residential

Merge Design Build (mergefl.com) is a licensed South Florida design-build firm (CGC + RA) delivering residential, commercial, and healthcare projects across the state. We're growing our field team to match a strong pipeline of signed and upcoming work.
The role:
We're hiring a hands-on Senior Superintendent to run three ground-up residential projects located next to each other in West Palm Beach — approximately $3M in combined construction volume. Subcontractors are selected and mobilizing. You will run these sites daily from foundation through Certificate of Occupancy, and grow into a full Project Manager role as our pipeline converts.
Responsibilities:
Daily on-site supervision of all three projects
Scheduling and coordination of subcontractors
Supervision of all structural phases: footings, slab, tie-beams/columns, trusses, dry-in
Scheduling, preparing for, and attending all Palm Beach County inspections
Quality control across all trades — catching issues before they become rework
Site safety, organization, and cleanliness
Daily progress reports with photos to management
Supporting change-order documentation and owner communication (PM track)
Requirements:
5+ years supervising ground-up residential construction in South Florida
Strong foundation and shell experience — able to read structural drawings (rebar schedules, tie-beam layouts, truss plans) and verify work against them
Working knowledge of the Palm Beach County inspection sequence (pre-pour, slab, tie-beam, framing/strapping, dry-in)
Experience managing concrete, masonry, and framing crews directly
Spanish strongly preferred
Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
