A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technicians – Fulfillment in Bolingbrook, IL. The Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment Highlights

  • The required availability for this position is Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, plus either Thursday 4:30 PM–2:30 AM or Saturday 2:30 PM–12:30 AM
  • First week training is Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–12:30 AM
  • This position is located at a Micro Fulfillment Center
  • Candidates do not need an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license or certification to apply but must be eligible for Pharmacy Technician registration in Illinois

Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment Responsibilities

  • Process new patient registrations by entering patient and prescription information into the appropriate system
  • Handle prescription requests and refill orders while following HIPAA guidelines
  • Troubleshoot missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations and SIG codes
  • Resolve prescription data-entry exceptions
  • Process and resolve third-party insurance rejects
  • Review claims, make corrections, and resubmit claims according to plan requirements
  • Operate automated pharmacy fulfillment machinery
  • Sort medications and transition inventory through different workflow stages
  • Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, and pack and ship medications
  • Maintain quality control and prescription accuracy
  • Clean and help maintain fulfillment machinery and maintain an orderly work area
  • Assist Pharmacists at the facility and other locations
  • Assist with inbound and outbound patient or physician calls
  • Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be eligible for Pharmacy Technician registration in the state of Illinois
  • Basic computer/PC skills
  • Basic internet and search engine skills
  • Intermediate keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Must be willing and able to push, pull, grasp, and lift with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible shift
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers
  • Experience meeting quality and productivity standards
  • Intermediate to advanced keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
  • Experience with pharmacy fulfillment or pharmacy data entry
  • Experience resolving insurance claims and third-party rejects
  • Experience operating automated pharmacy fulfillment equipment
