Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-desk experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient correspondence in a timely manner
- Support care team with administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily clinic operations
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing administrative role
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or medical administration certification a plus
