JOB TITLE: Field Services Technician II
DEPARTMENT: Service
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt / part time
AVAILIBILITY: Position available for immediate hire
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• MUST have experience in repair activities of all major brands of fitness equipment (ie. Precor, Life Fitness, Matrix and
Stairmaster).
• Comfortable talking to customers.
• Ability to use technology to communicate (ie. Email and texting) and the ability to use technology to upgrade software on
equipment (ie. download and load software to/from a jump drive).
• Patience and a professional respectful demeanor.
• Travel expected in and around the Chicagoland area and to Wisconsin on a limited basis.
• Self-starter/motivator and good time manager.
• Able to work with little to no direct management looking over your shoulder – we empower our employees and do not like
to micromanage.
• Resourceful problem solver.
• A minimum of 2 professional references.
• Ability to work 4 days a week required.
• Must have an extremely reliable track record.
• Must have reliable personal transportation that can transport tools and parts safely.
• On-call may be necessary for extreme cases only.
• Create accurate and consistent customer deliverables – share and train with others to support corporate sales and
marketing goals.
• Help coordinate management of accounts and transition of new services to grow (and maintain) positive customer
relationships.
COMPENSATION:
• Hourly rate based on experience.
• Take home company van.
• Cell phone and iPad.
ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS:
• Ability to maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts.
• Flexible availability as some interaction expected during off hours for work order communication such as reporting.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
• Lift up to ~70lbs (ie. lift or move treadmills, bikes and various equipment during repair)
• Drug test and background check will be conducted.

Established fitness repair company in the Chicagoland area in need of a professional technician that requires
hands-on experience and the ability to talk to customers. This role is responsible for promoting a positive brand image and
working cohesively through all internal organizations to ensure customer satisfaction. The primary focus will be fitness
equipment repair and preventative maintenance activity in commercial facilities.
