Monitor the flow of traffic around road construction sites. Flaggers should have excellent communication skills, observation skills and work well as a team player.

You must have a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to drive a box truck
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• This position requires standing for long periods of time and paying attention to oncoming traffic, heavy lifting in all weather, and being punctual.
• Set up job site signs, cones, etc, and break down at the end of the day.
• Direct traffic by using a paddle appropriately
• Solve problems as they arise and communicate to the appropriate party if unable to resolve.
• Required to operate pickups and box trucks (not requiring a commercial driver’s license), and miscellaneous hand tools in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures
• Complete daily logs (vehicle, time, etc) timely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean job site and truck: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day.
• Must be able to perform all of the following for extended periods: stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend at the waist, grasp, and hold various tools and objects with both hands.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• • Must have an absolutely clean driving record.
• Must be drug-free
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass drug & alcohol screening prior to and at all times during employment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
