Job Type: Full Time

Status: Exempt

Location: Onsite, Akron/Cleveland Ohio

The primary function of this role is to provide technical support and maintenance for all retail locations, including installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all systems, equipment, and facilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for timely and accurate repairs of convenience store facilities and equipment.
  • Basic knowledge in fuel and/or general maintenance such as lighting and food service.
  • Primary maintenance responsibility focused on fuel equipment:
  • Troubleshooting repairs and routine maintenance of Gilbarco and or Wayne dispensers and Veeder Root:
  • Changing fuel filters, breakaways, and nozzles
  • Performs technician work including but not limited to: minor electrical repairs (breakers, outlets, lighting, etc.), minor plumbing
  • Responds quickly to emergency calls and high priority work.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time.
  • Perform all requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage purchase receipts, parts inventory, and tools.
  • Maintain assigned vehicle which includes coordinating vehicle maintenance and ensure the vehicle is clean and well organized.
  • Transfer of equipment from warehouse to store and from store to store.
  • Process and update work order status’ in a timely manner.
  • Communicate daily with the Manager and maintenance team.
  • Maintain timely and accurate record keeping including time sheets, parts inventory, tools inventory, vacation requests and other related documents.
  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of fuel equipment and or POS (cash register) systems are a plus.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in minor electrical work.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in lighting repair and ballast replacement.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, quick to respond to maintenance needs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with third-party vendors and Sr. Management.
  • Ability to listen to a problem, analyze the problem, and develop the best solution.
  • Ability to make decisions regarding critical systems quickly, based on facts and experience.
  • Ability to serve in an on-call rotation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma, trade school or other training is preferred.
  • 0 to 1 + year of experience or equivalent experience/education.
