We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Preparation Specialist to help prepare and organize incoming documents for scanning and digital processing.
Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and prepare incoming mail and documents for scanning
- Remove staples, clips, sticky notes, and other items that may interfere with scanning
- Separate and organize multi-page documents in the correct order
- Review documents and assign the appropriate document type
- Check documents for missing pages, duplicates, damage, or other issues
- Prepare document batches based on established workflow and client requirements
- Identify and route documents that require additional review
- Perform quality checks to ensure documents are complete, readable, and properly organized
- Enter information and update workflow systems as needed
- Follow procedures for handling confidential and sensitive information
- Maintain a clean and secure work area
- Meet established quality and productivity standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a high-volume environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet scheduled work hours
- Ability to identify issues and ask for assistance when needed
Job details:
- M-F: 8am-430pm
- Pay: $17.00
