OTR/Regional Box Truck Driver

The Box Truck Driver plays an individual contributor role focused on safely transporting goods. This position requires adherence to safety standards, efficient route navigation, and performing routine vehicle maintenance. The driver will handle loading and unloading tasks with limited interaction with customers and ensure timely delivery of items while diligently documenting logs and coordinating deliveries.

Pay per load. 25% of gross weekly revenue

Responsibilities

• Drive box truck on daily local routes ensuring timely deliveries
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Navigate routes using GPS and planned directions
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Coordinate delivery logistics with dispatch and other teams
• Engage in limited customer interaction during deliveries
• Keep accurate delivery logs and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in commercial driving
• Knowledge of vehicle operation and route planning
• Understanding of safety compliance procedures
• Strong time management and physical stamina
• Basic customer service skills
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools
• Awareness of routine vehicle maintenance requirements
