Shipper / Receiver II - $21/HR

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable Shipper / Receiver for a well-established, family-owned manufacturer in Grapevine, TX.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a small team where everyone contributes.

Important: This position requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record (i.e., zero driving violations).

SHIFT: 6 - 2:30 AM DURING SUMMER MONTHS / 7 - 3:30 DURING COOLER MONTHS

What You'll Do

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials from vendors and warehouses.
• Pick, stage, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents.
• Move materials to production work centers and maintain organized inventory locations.
• Perform inventory control, cycle counts, and material reconciliation.
• Enter shipping and receiving transactions into computer systems.
• Assist with preparing shipments and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Shipping & Receiving or warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience with inventory control, shipping documentation, and material handling.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and inventory transactions.
• Ability to read bills of material (BOMs), job orders, and part numbers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Team player who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for the full shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with occasional heat, noise, machinery, and forklifts.
