Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Upsell products by highlighting features, benefits, and new offerings to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales performance
• Maintain stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring product displays are attractive and compliant with merchandising standards
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about product effects, usage, and safety guidelines
• Handle retail store product knowledge with confidence, staying informed about new products, strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales with strong cashiering skills and retail math proficiency for accurate transactions and cash drawer handling
• Supervising experience preferred to support team operations and ensure excellent customer service standards
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse customer
  groups
• Exceptional communication skills to educate customers clearly and confidently about products
• Experience with POS systems, retail store merchandising, inventory management, and stock replenishment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for sales totals, discounts, taxes, and change-making
• Knowledge of cannabis products including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories is highly desirable
• Strong phone etiquette skills combined with excellent customer service orientation to foster positive interactions both in person and over the phone
