Senga Transportation, LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and family-oriented Student Transportation Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for school-aged children. Drivers play a vital role in helping students arrive at school and home safely while maintaining a positive, caring, and professional environment for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from schools, special education programs, summer programs, and approved activities.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required inspection reports.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle at all times.

• Follow all federal, state, local, and school district transportation regulations.

• Ensure students are properly seated and secured according to safety requirements.

• Maintain accurate daily route logs, mileage records, and attendance documentation as required.

• Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, school personnel, dispatch staff, and students.

• Report delays, incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns, or student-related issues promptly.

• Assist students entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate and authorized.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and special needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid NJ CDL License with both Passenger and School bus endorsements and a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass all required background checks, fingerprinting, and drug/alcohol screening.

• Ability to meet NJ student transportation requirement requirements.

• Ability to safely operate a passenger van or school transportation vehicle.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
