That means zero paycheck deductions for your standard health coverage—putting thousands of dollars back into your pocket every single year.
Do you have a sharp eye for detail, lightning-fast typing and 10-key skills, and a passion for working with numbers and spreadsheets? OCA is seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper to join our financial team in Mercerville, NJ!
A significant portion of this role centers around high-volume, precision data entry. You will manage the continuous flow of participant records, enrollments, terminations, and financial transactions across multiple internal systems and databases. Alongside your heavy data entry tasks, you will handle daily billing and invoicing, post payments, and assist with client accounts receivable inquiries.
This is an ideal entry-level or early-career opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys structured, heads-down computer and data entry work, loves math/accuracy, and wants to build a rewarding career in corporate finance.
High-Volume Data Entry (Core Focus): Accurately enter and update high volumes of participant enrollments, terminations, plan changes, and adjustments across multiple software platforms and proprietary databases with speed and precision.
Billing & Invoicing Operations: Prepare and issue clear, accurate recurring bills, client invoices, and account setup files.
Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Post and apply daily incoming client payments, assist with financial transactions, facilitate bank deposits, and help reconcile the accounts receivable ledger.
Database Maintenance & Quality Control: Perform routine data clean-up, cross-check entries against source documents to prevent discrepancies, and ensure database records are up to date.
Client Communication: Investigate billing discrepancies, send polite payment reminders, and provide friendly telephone/email support to clients regarding AR questions.
Data Privacy & Compliance: Maintain organized digital records while adhering to strict privacy and data confidentiality regulations, including HIPAA.

We’re in business to help people!
With our roots dating back to our formation in 1983, we began as a full service employee benefit brokerage firm. At the request of one of our clients, we began providing Cafeteria Plan administrative services to our clients in 1986 and expanded our services to include Health Reimbursement Arrangements in 2004. As an established benefit broker, our founder made the critical decision to stop writing new insurance coverage and elected to focus on the administration of TPA services.
As a growing family-owned business, we recognize the value of partnering with the very best. To build our distribution system, OCA made a conscious effort to reach out to the best brokers and general agents. Back in 1997 for compliance purposes we retained what industry experts consider the preeminent legal counsel in our industry, Alston & Bird. We have coupled this with industry leading technology and a core philosophy that we hire, train, and develop employees that know they have one fundamental job to do; to help people!
