Customer Service Manager

We are a long time company, multiple decades, headquartered in the Bradenton, FL area with office locations in different parts of Florida. We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to work with our established customers, and future new customers, to ensure we are reactive to their needs and requests. We are in the horticulture industry specializing in plants located at locations around the area for our clients.

Our Customer Service Manager will be in charge of an area of Sarasota and Manatee counties. This position will oversee a staff of service technicians to ensure we are meeting company standards of care and quality. The company has long time employees that enjoy working here. We offer a competitive benefits package for all full time employees. This is a salaried position that works predominantly Monday through Friday for around 45 hours per week.

We are seeking candidates who have some Customer Service experience that:

- Managed/ Supervised a small group of other employees

- Experience in Customer Service working directly and in person with them

- Possibly some sales experience to help customers with their needs

- Ability to train other staff members to do their position so strong communication skills.

- Strong relationship building abilities

- Prefer a candidate with some Horticulture experience in plant care and pest control knowledge

The job will require traveling in a company supplied vehicle to customer locations. The person could even have to fill in for missing service technicians when things happen like vacations or short staff issues. A candidate will have to communicate (in person, phone, or electronically) with staff and customers. They will have to be able to occasionally lift plants and containers up to 50 pounds (with help sometimes).
