Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for children
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Adapt to varying schedules and classroom needs in a flexible childcare setting
- High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework or degree preferred
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or a related field
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying hours and days
- Patient, energetic, and genuinely passionate about child development
- Must pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
