Sales Associates

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hard-working Sales Associate to join our beauty supply retail store.

The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment. Beauty supply store experience is not required; however, prior retail store experience is mandatory for this position.

Candidates with previous retail store experience will be strongly preferred.
Bilingual candidates who can communicate fluently in both English and Spanish are preferred, as this role requires assisting a diverse customer base.

Duties & Responsibilities

The associate must be able to perform all of the following tasks:

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with beauty supply products
• Answer product-related questions and make appropriate recommendations
• Operate the POS system, including cashiering, cash handling, and card transactions
• Restock merchandise, organize shelves, and maintain store displays
• Receive, unpack, and organize inventory in the stockroom
• Maintain store cleanliness and overall organization
• Assist customers with inquiries
• Follow store policies and procedures consistently
• Work independently when needed and support team members during busy periods

Qualifications

• Previous retail store experience is required(minimum 1 year of experience)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Beauty supply store experience is not required, but strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform all full-duty responsibilities
• Reliable, dependable, and hard-working
• Strong customer service attitude
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers
• Basic math skills for cashiering and transactions
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Most inventory boxes are manageable; however, occasional heavier lifting may be required (up to 40–50 lbs)
