Warehouse Manager

Hours 7am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory levels of HVAC, plumbing, and installation materials.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store all incoming shipments.
• Cycle count inventory daily and conduct complete physical inventories quarterly.
• Monitor inventory usage and reorder stock before shortages occur.
• Minimize obsolete and excess inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of 98% or better.

Technician Support

• Prepare daily truck stock for service and installation technicians.
• Ensure technicians leave each morning with all required materials.
• Restock technician vehicles at the end of each day.
• Assemble installation jobs from job packets.
• Stage equipment for upcoming installations.

Purchasing & Vendor Relations

• Order materials from approved suppliers.
• Compare pricing and negotiate with vendors when appropriate.
• Maintain strong relationships with local HVAC and plumbing distributors.
• Coordinate warranty returns and material credits.
• Verify purchase orders and invoices for accuracy.

Warehouse Operations

• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA compliant.
• Label shelving and maintain organized storage systems.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Coordinate scrap metal and recycling removal.
• Manage warehouse security and access.

Fleet & Equipment

• Monitor company vehicle inventory.
• Schedule vehicle stocking.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and tools.
• Track company assets including ladders, recovery machines, pumps, specialty tools, and test instruments.

Process Improvement

• Develop standard operating procedures.
• Improve warehouse efficiency.
• Reduce technician downtime caused by missing materials.
• Recommend inventory and purchasing improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years warehouse management experience
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with inventory software (ServiceTitan experience is a major plus)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
