  • Specialty: CRNA

  • Practice Setting: OR/Surgery Department. Level 1 trauma center. Large academic hospital
    • \n
  • Dates/Coverage Needed: Looking for additional CRNA's who can start ASAC (October/November ideally) for 3 months with the option to extend. Shift hours considered are 8:30 am - 7 pm or 6:30 am - 7 pm (7 am start on Thursdays). No weekend or call requirements.

  • Staffing Mix/Supervision: Medical Direction at a 3:1 or 2:1 ratio. Anesthesia techs turn over equipment.
    • \n
  • Case Mix: General, Ortho, Trauma, Plastics, Neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, ENT, etc. No hearts, no OB, and no blocks. Assess, prepare and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural period. Develop and implement an anesthetic plan. Perform history and physical. Obtain Informed Consent Perform a pre-anesthetic evaluation and post-operative assessment. General Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Spinal Anesthesia IV Regional Block Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) Invasive monitoring and placement (CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheterization, intra-arterial lines) Airway Management

  • Credentialing Time-Frame: 60-90 days

  • Certifications: NBCRNA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
    • \n
  • Active PA License: Required or compact
    • \n
  • Flight/Lodging/Rental Car or Mileage: Yes
