Controls
Job Description
o Provides controls PM account tracking and work history documentation to customer and company.
o Schedules time for controls PM work to be done when needed with commercial PM's.
o Coordinates with service dept. for controls PM visits. Ensures new accounts are set up in OnePlus.
o Delivers PM work scope narrative or detail with customer invoice. Maintains records for company.
o Tracks install hours vs. bid hours for all commercial install controls projects.
o Provides controls install bid estimate hours vs actual hours feedback to estimator.
o Looks for ways to improve purchasing trends for install projects - less trips to supply house.
o Looks for bulk purchasing opportunities.
o Assists PM's with controls scope change orders.
o Tracks controls PM work hours vs bid/proposal hours. Shares with management.
o Assists with new customer proposals and controls business development.
o Initiates at least 4(ea.) sales proposals to prospective new control maintenance customers.
o Ensures weekly coordination with service dept. and commercial projects dept.
o Keeps service dispatch informed of crews' whereabouts, daily.
o Assists in recruiting and hiring controls techs as needed.
o Assists controls team/employees in getting O6A license.
o Makes efforts to increase billable controls service hours versus controls installation hours.
Required licenses, certifications and training.
o Maintains a current CPR & First Aid card.
o Maintains the06A journeyman license and stays current with continuing education classes.
General workplace items.
o Represents the company in a professional manner treating others with honesty & fairness.
o Takes workplace safety seriously. Fills out a fall protection plan before going on any roof.
o Keeps Bruce service van clean, organized, and adequately stocked to handle most service calls.
o Understands, and abides by, the required flexible and longer work hours during the busy season.
o Understands, and abides by, the required on-call work shift schedule.
o Gives adequate notice for requested time off, and is generally accountable.
o Wears company issued shirts & pants. Keeps clothing, and him/herself, clean and presentable.
o Communicates professionally and effectively with all clients, and co-workers (dispatch).
o Takes initiative to create value, looks for additional responsibility, has a good attitude.
