Senior Operations Manager / Operational Trainer
$75,000–$110,000+ Annually (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Traveling Position

Job Summary
LJ’s Cleaning Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Operational Trainer to oversee operations across multiple locations while serving as the primary trainer and mentor for Site Supervisors. This position focuses on operational excellence, leadership development, quality control, safety, compliance, client satisfaction, and workforce performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple locations and contracts
- Conduct site visits, inspections, quality audits, and operational reviews
- Manage labor utilization, scheduling, productivity, and workforce planning
- Train, coach, and mentor Site Supervisors
- Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, checklists, and operational guides
- Conduct supervisor onboarding, refresher training, and corrective-action training
- Monitor KPIs, quality scores, safety performance, and contract compliance
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and developing Site Supervisors
- Address escalated client concerns and conduct customer walkthroughs
- Ensure OSHA, PPE, incident-reporting, and company safety requirements are followed
- Develop operational dashboards and reports for executive leadership
Microsoft 365 & Technology
Candidates must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and be comfortable training supervisors on digital systems, including:
- Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- OneDrive and SharePoint
- Microsoft Forms
- Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot preferred
- GoCanvas or similar digital inspection platforms preferred
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of operations management experience
- Minimum 3 years of multi-site supervisory experience
- Experience training managers, supervisors, or frontline teams
- Experience managing large workforces
- Strong leadership, coaching, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of KPIs, performance management, quality control, and safety
- Ability to travel between multiple locations
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed
Industry Experience Preferred
Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, transportation, aviation, logistics, or other service-based operations is preferred.
Preferred Certifications
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, ISSA/CMI certifications, Lean Six Sigma, First Aid/CPR, or Project Management certifications are preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel frequently
- Ability to conduct facility inspections
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
