Automotive Parts Manager
Job Description
GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A JOB THEY LOVE! This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their parts department.
We are seeking individual with the following credentials and experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the automotive parts department
- Maintain inventory accuracy and availability
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely parts delivery
- Train and supervise parts department staff
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective parts support
- Implement strategies to optimize parts sales and profitability
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in automotive parts management.
- Delivers excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Motivates the sales counter team to meet objectives by training and mentoring staff.
· Creates business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
· Hires, trains, and oversees new staff.
· Responds to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
· Ensures store compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Develops and arranges promotional material and in-store displays.
· Prepares detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits.
· Undertakes store administration duties such as managing store budgets and updating financial records.
· Monitors inventory levels and orders new items.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
below.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

o Dealertrack DMS;
o Development Software;
o Internet Software;
o Manufacturing Software;
o Spreadsheet Software (Excel);
o Inventory Software;
o Order Processing Systems;
o Project Management Software;
o Word Processing Software (Word);
o Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
o Publisher software.
• Other skills required:
o A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a automotive parts environment, ideally in a managerial role.
o Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
o Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
