Press Helper- 2nd Shift

About the Role:

The Flexographic Press Helper supports the Press Operator in daily production. This is a hands-on manufacturing role with strong growth potential. You will assist with press setup, material handling, roll changes, ink management, and quality control while learning the fundamentals of flexographic printing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with press setup and job changeovers
• Load and unload large film rolls onto the press
• Stage rolls and materials for upcoming jobs
• Mount plates and sleeves
• Mix and maintain ink systems during production
• Clean ink pumps, chambers, anilox rolls, and press components
• Inspect printed material for defects and quality issues
• Maintain accurate production documentation
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all plant safety procedures

'05; Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude required
• Manufacturing or printing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work with heavy rolls (assistive equipment provided)
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and grow into a Press Operator role
• Able to stand for long periords of time
