HVAC Lead Installer
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
All Brands Cooling and Heating is looking for an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to run residential installation jobs out of our Immokalee location. This is a hands-on role — you’ll be on the tools every day, leading a 2–3 person install crew (including yourself), and making sure every system goes in right the first time. You’ll be the technical authority on-site: reading the job, directing the crew, solving problems as they come up, and leaving the customer with a clean, code-compliant install and a great impression of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead complete installations of residential HVAC systems — split systems, heat pumps, package units, and associated ductwork — from start to finish.
• Direct a 2–3 person install crew on-site: assign tasks, keep the job on schedule, and hold the work to All Brands’ quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret job specs, load calculations, and manufacturer installation instructions.
• Perform final system start-up, testing, and commissioning — verifying proper airflow, refrigerant charge, and electrical connections.
• Walk customers through the completed system on-site, answer their questions, and ensure a clean, professional job site before leaving.
• Coordinate with dispatch and the office through Housecall Pro on job status, material needs, and schedule changes.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and equipment; keep the truck stocked and organized.
• Ensure every install meets local code, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Model good technique and safety practices for less experienced crew members on the job.
• Complete accurate job documentation, photos, and paperwork in Housecall Pro at job close-out.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience, including experience leading a crew or job site.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Strong working knowledge of residential HVAC systems: split systems, heat pumps, package units, and ductwork design/fabrication.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints, load calculations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong communication skills — comfortable representing All Brands directly to customers.
• NATE certification a plus, not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs.
• Work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions, including Florida heat.
• Climb ladders and work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
COMPENSATION
• $30–$40/hour, based on experience.
