An international company with a facility near Novi, MI is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for direct hire opportunities with their growing team. Mechanical Conveyor Engineers will be working a full-time, with base pay anticipated to be between $80,000-120,000/year based on each candidate’s experience and education. Qualified Mechanical Engineers will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
- 2+ years Mechanical Engineering experience in capital equipment projects, especially for material handling and conveyor systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D, Inventor 3D, and MS Project is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to customer sites for meetings and site assessments.
- Must be able to work in the United States.
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
